DANIELLE SULLIVAN
Welcome to Extraordinary Teachers!
My name is Danielle Sullivan, and I’ve been a special education teacher in a high-needs school for the last 9 years.
I’ve been interested in education reform for as long as I can remember. I studied politics in college, and worked on Capital Hill in charge of a Congresswoman’s education policy initiatives. I didn’t see any real change happening and realized that if I *really* wanted to make a difference, I needed to become a teacher. I’ve been teaching ever since!
Over the years, I have taught graduate-level professional development for teachers. I’ve acted as an instructional coach and have lead countless workshops, trainings, and coaching sessions. I’m dedicated to my students, but I’m passionate about teachers.
Working with teachers is my true passion. I believe that teachers can be the change they wish to see in their classrooms and lives. Teachers have so much to contribute to the world there is a reason teachers became educators, however, the system is bogging down and holding back teachers from discovering their personal power. My goal is to help teachers re-ignite their personal passion for teaching and their lives. Teachers are brilliant!
By empowering teachers, we create our own educational revolution where students are truly put first. I know that together we can create awesome change within our school system and inspire students everywhere. I truly believe that happy teachers will change the world! #happyteachers

HALEY VANCOX
Hi, I’m Haley. Nice to “meet” you.
I work as a one-on-one coach for Extraordinary Teachers, as well as co-hosting in-person meetups and workshops as part of our Tampa Bay Teachers meetup.
I am a certified coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF-ACC) and am a Certified Positive Psychology Coach®. I also have certifications in neuroscience, values, needs, personal strengths, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. In addition to my coaching certification, I am a trained understanding-based and transformative mediator from the New York Center for Interpersonal Development and the CDRC.
Working with teachers provides me an incredible amount of fulfillment and meaning. I have never met another group of women (and a few smart men:) so dedicated and in-love with our nations future leaders. But what really pulls at my heartstrings is that there’s not enough real support for our educators. I’ve seen GIANT shifts by working with the whole person (the woman behind the title of teacher). I’ve seen that woman come alive again, feel connected to their higher calling, be positive and optimistic, and feel connected to themselves, their colleagues, and their students. It’s a beautiful transformation to witness.
